Maintenance Assistant

Job Duties:
-Custodial-

  • Cleaning restrooms, windows, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying trash bins, etc.
-Campus-
  • Opening and closing.
  • Campus cleanliness - (Outdoors and Indoors).
  • Grounds Keeping - (Pulling weeds, pressure washing, leaf blowing, etc.)
  • Minor repairs.
  • Room Set Ups - Setting up and taking down tables and chairs. Setting up for events and special holidays.
  • Stocking items – (kitchen supplies, office supplies, janitorial supplies, etc.)
  • Keeping storage areas clean and orderly.
  • Staying alert for suspicious activity.
  • Reporting safety concerns.
-Public Interactions-
  • Helping with interments and funerals.
  • Helping direct volunteers and security officers.
 
Requirements:
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work some nights, most holidays, and weekends.
  • Must arrive on-site to work.
  • Must be willing to learn.
  • Must work well in a team setting.
  • Must be able to carry themself respectfully and reverently.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to handle constructive criticism well and take accountability.
  • Must be willing to be on call at times.
 
Hours and Compensation:
  • Full Time (35 – 40+ hours per week).
  • Pay is dependent on work ethic and qualifications.
