Lancaster County, SC — The Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and The Lancaster News are thrilled to announce two upcoming Candidate Forums, designed to provide candidates running for various local, state, and federal offices the opportunity to highlight their platforms.
The first forum will be held on September 17th at CrossRidge Auditorium in Indian Land from 6:00-8:00 pm. The second forum will take place on September 24th at the USC Lancaster Bundy Auditorium in Lancaster, also from 6:00-8:00 pm. Doors for both events will open to the public at 5:30 pm.
These forums will feature a diverse group of candidates, providing voters a valuable opportunity to hear directly from those seeking office. The Indian Land forum will feature candidates for Lancaster County Council District 1, SC House District 44, and SC Senate Districts 16 and 17. The Lancaster forum will feature candidates for U.S. House District 5, SC House Districts 45 and 53, and SC Senate District 27.
Questions for the candidates will be sourced from the public to ensure a broad range of topics and concerns are addressed.
