We are recruiting a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Plexus Health team in Lancaster, SC. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals, providing essential support in medication management and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare staff.
  • Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes in critical care settings.
  • Document all medication-related activities accurately in patient records.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
  • PCBT and State of SC certifications required.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and drug inventory control.
  • Understanding of 340B Program requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pharmacy management software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • 340B experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour schedule per week with occasional overtime during the hours of Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
