Finally Friday
See Lancaster, SC is delivering summer fun with family-friendly events offering live music, food, and theatre productions! Kicking off the annual Finally Friday free summer concert series is “Mister Pleaze”, a band whose music ranges from Motown and Van Halen to Jason Aldean and everything in between. The June 24 “Welcome Back Picnic” will be held from 6-9pm on the shady lawn behind City Hall, 216 S. Catawba Street. Attendees are invited to bring chairs and blankets and will find plenty of free parking, Hwy. 55 on site selling burgers with all the trimmings. The concert series will continue through September, always on the last Friday of the month and always free. July’s “Summer Shaggin’” concert will feature Castaways, August is “Schoolhouse Rock”, and September introduces an “International Festival” to Lancaster’s Cultural Arts District.
