2026 Nonprofit of the Year Nomination Form
The Nonprofit of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding nonprofit organization that has made a meaningful and lasting impact on Lancaster County. This award honors an organization that demonstrates a strong commitment to its mission, addresses important community needs, and improves the quality of life for local residents through innovative programs, community partnerships, and dedicated service.
The recipient exemplifies responsible leadership, effective use of resources, and a commitment to strengthening the Lancaster County community.
CRITERIA:
• The organization must be an established nonprofit organization [501 (C)(3)] in good standing, with at least three years of operations.
• The organization must be a member of the Lancaster County Chamber.
• The organization must provide services or demonstrate a meaningful impact within Lancaster County, South Carolina.
• The organization must operate ethically and demonstrate responsible stewardship of its resources.
• The nomination must include specific examples of the organization's achievements and community impact, preferably from the past 12 months.
