JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Email Marketing Specialist is an action-oriented doer who knows how to accelerate digital brand performance via email campaigns, employ triggered email strategies, and deploy tactics designed to acquire, retain, reactivate, and reward customers across all email segments.

The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to problem solving with hands-on experience running an email marketing and lead generation program, with a strong background in email marketing communication, lead management, and customer segmentation. The candidate will also lead internal and external data management relationships.

This role is a unique opportunity to blend the art and science required to grow our Direct to Consumer channels through innovative strategies and management of our database.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Define strategy, build, execute, and optimize innovative and effective email campaigns with a focus on lead nurturing, buyer personas and customer journeys
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports digital marketing KPIs by channel with analysis against goals (RoAS, ROI, ACoS, LTV, etc)
  • Serves as the business strategy leader for all external email communication and understands, analyzes, and optimizes customer lifetime value
  • Develops and manages an innovative B2B engagement campaigns, focusing on personalization, testing, and driving engagement and retention
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing, Brand & Customer Service teams to establish and continually improve prospective and current customer segmentation strategy & implementation
  • Monitors customer migration across various predetermined segments
  • Defines and monitors success of the campaigns. Identifies and reports on Health of the Customer KPIs to track effectiveness of the all programs
  • Serves as a knowledge leader, using structured problem solving to craft and execute thoughtful insights and agendas
  • Participates in the promotion development process in conjunction with Sales, Product, and Channel teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all promotional activity
  • Partners with internal support resources to analyze and develop insights for marketing campaigns and communicate to relevant parties within the business
  • Formulates and communicates strategic business opportunities to necessary stakeholders
  • Identifies and creates areas and opportunities to improve the customer journey through new data points, emerging tools, and technologies
  • Regular Attendance is required
  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment
 

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES

  • Comprehensive understanding of Inbound Methodology
  • Proven experience defining and executing email campaigns
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and triggered email sequences
  • Experience using attribution models to understand customer journeys preferred
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using tools and technologies used for site management
  • Very high functional use of Google Analytics and major digital marketing platforms
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong business judgment with ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to partner well cross-functionally and build strong relationships with a collaborative working style
  • Strong drive towards innovation and continuous improvement

EXPERIENCEEDUCATION

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.?
  • Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo or similar tools appreciated but not required
  • 3-4+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on demand generation, CRM, Market Research, Business Analysis, and or Database Marketing

This role is 100% on site in our Lancaster, SC facility.
